The Arctis 7+ connects wirelessly to a PC, Mac, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, or an Android phone (with a USB-C port) via a flat, rectangular USB transmitter. The mix wheel is effectively the only difference between the Arctis 7+ and the PlayStation-focused Arctis 7P+ variant both headsets connect to the same devices, and have nearly identical hardware, but the Arctis 7P+’s right wheel adjusts mic sidetone instead of game/voice balance. The power button and a game/voice mix wheel sit on the right earcup. Along the left earcup's bottom edge sits a micro USB port for charging the headset, a proprietary connector for the included four-pole 3.5mm cable, a volume wheel, and a mic mute button. The left earcup holds the built-in boom microphone that retracts inside the earcup when not in use and features a red indicator LED on the capsule to let you know when it’s muted.
